International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group Vietnam is recruiting on behalf of a global leading manufacturer in lubricants industry.

Our client is seeking for an experienced Segment Strategy Lead. The role will work at office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

This role is responsible for industrial project management and product strategy / product road map & product management. The goal is to establish a local, effective supply chain, as well as a variety of supporting documents, in order to serve and coordinate support activities throughout the key regional markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop product strategy, product roadmap, and product management
  • Interface between R&D and Sales Team
  • Management of the Product Life Cycle
  • Collaboration with the product marketing group and lab to develop the product, key messaging, compelling selling story, and customer value propositions
  • Drive internal and external sustainability (external- support to customers on their sustainability project)
  • Lubricant Contract manufacturing organization, factory audit (technical, commercial, and supply chain evaluation/validation)
  • Market analysis and understanding of industrial lubricant trends and potential opportunities
  • Pricing, packaging, and distribution techniques for sold products are determined to assure profitability (domestic and international)

Job Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree with Technical Background
  • Strong Project Management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
  • Regional experience is a plus, but not a must (Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Japan)
  • Good English communication skills.
