Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a prominent law firm in Indonesia. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Job Responsibilities include:

• Associates work in a collegiate environment, for a range of partners, and can expect a good variety of work. Developing relationships with clients including gaining a good knowledge of the client's businesses, economic drivers, market and sector requirements in order to ensure advice is relevant and commercial.

• Associates are given regular and direct contact with clients, with a culture based on associates being given the level of responsibility they are ready for, rather than a PQE based method of work allocation.

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and transaction documents, particularly with respect to FinTech from payment gateway, P2P, cryptocurrency/blockchain, etc. partnership transactions, payments, innovative financial service alliances, and others service agreements.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for input on privacy, data sharing, data security, regulatory and marketing considerations while developing and drafting form contracts - all while minimizing company and customer risk.

• Maintain an understanding of regulatory impact in driving forward with innovative and changing fintech, digital assets, and financial offerings while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Engaging in business development activities and being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work.

• Working as part of a team including assisting with the supervision of junior lawyers' work, and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.

• There are regular opportunities for secondments with clients. Posting to other offices under the firm's associate transfer programme is also a possibility.

Job Requirements:

• A qualified lawyer with excellent academics credentials, with around 8+ years experiences both law firm and in-house

• Current experience in the Capital Market / FinTech or related department of a leading Indonesian firm or combine experienced in-house lawyer

• First rate technical skills needed to support the client work of the department

• Commerciality and demonstrable business development experience
