SENIOR BI DEVELOPER - £80,000 - £90,000 - PERMANENT (HYBRID) - CENTRAL LONDON
Our client, a global leader in the insurance industry is seeking to hire a Senior BI Developer into its analytics team, working on different projects. You will be working with several different insurance clients, managing stakeholders up and down the chain developing data driven insights for the creation of new and lucrative insurance products.
This role would suit someone with 2-5 years' experience as a Senior BI Developer with Insurance experience who is looking for their next career step
Role:
- Deliver technical development on internal insights platform
- Take ownership of code and infrastructure - guarantee OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities
- Make sure all coding and software satisfies expected standards with the latest backend technology versions
- Write unit, feature, and integration tests
- Develop up to date documentation when required
- Create re-usable libraries and modules
- Oversee all deployments and code releases
Key Experience:
- Excellent GIT version control
- Catastrophe Modelling
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
- Python 3.7+, Pandas, NumPy
- .NET, C#, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps
- Database management - Relational & Non- Relational
- CMS Frameworks
- API Development and Integration
- Teamworking skills and stakeholder management
- Insurance industry experience is a bonus
