Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Professional Division is partnered with one of Malaysia's leading Technology and Service Providers.

They are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Business Development Executive who is essentially a business athlete that can independently originate deals, navigate complex customized ideas, solve intricate requirements, and define the strategy and roadmap to support our client's Digital Identity Design for Malaysia that involves our digital trust solutions which includes the delivery of authorized Corporate Information and Digital Signatures with the support of our own Licensed Certification Authority.

Job responsibilities:

Find a way to communicate and convince clients of the value of embedding Authorized Corporate Information & Digital Signature Products & Services into their requirements and platforms, as a means of offering identity authentication whether it be for them or to their customers. In order to start, you will focus on:

  • Analysis - Demonstrate strong judgement skills to scope and size market, channels and opportunities supported in a data-driven way. Identify where the highest return on investment comes from and deciding which partnerships to prioritise.
  • Lead Generation - Identify, build, and manage a pipeline of well-diversified leads. Be able to build long-term successful commercial partnerships with high impact entities (Government Agencies/ Private Companies)
  • Sales- To close both transactional & solution sales by combining multiple product sets and integration solutions.
  • Growth - Develop and execute business plan and 'go to market' strategies that unlock partnerships with current and new customers.
  • Efficiency- Propose operational evolution and innovation towards a more effective business management supporting sales growth.
  • Proficiency- To develop proposals and able to showcase clear and eloquent understanding of the presentation.
  • Leadership - Provides strategic guidance, support, training, and coaching to the team in developing skills essential for business outreach.
  • Implementation - Manage multiple projects in various stages of completion, manage and coordinate resources involved for projects with end-to-end involvement in sales and implementation of solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management - Independently manage stakeholder relationships including managing expectations and requirements with an array of internal and external, across long and short sales cycle deals.
  • Updates - Provide regular status updates, prepare analytical and performance reports as required for management and Board purposes.
  • Commercial Management - Have a strong head for economics, and be responsible for managing the financial and legal negotiations with clients.
  • Technical - Talk customers through the steps required for an API integration into their systems on manageable yet tight timelines.
  • Product - Work closely with the team (Marketing ,IT, Finance, Compliance, Customer Care) teams to provide valuable feedback (based on your conversations with prospects) to guide product roadmap and improve end customer experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • You have at least five (5) years of relevant working experience.
  • You have the ability to think like a customer, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it
  • You have clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of any proposal
  • You have a self-starter attitude with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • You are brave in managing multiple deals in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment.
  • You are capable of building partnerships to enhance influence and create long term value for all parties
  • You portray strong written and interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations.
  • You are flexible and able to travel when necessary.

  • You are familiar with dealing with financial institutions like Banks & Government Agencies

You have knowledge of Digital Signature, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Internet security and digital certificates
