Our respected client is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the job of Java Developer. The job is based in the BGC, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Job Summary

The Java Developer will stay updated with all trends and technologies in banking and finance such as machine learning, AI, and cloud computing. He/She will also learn how to design and implement scalable and efficient systems.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintainin features and servers
  • Support the roll out team
  • Work closely with frontend and backend engineers
  • Collaborate in code review processes
  • Take ownership of applications

Key job requirements include:

  • At least 1-5 years of working experience
  • Strong experience in Java, SQL (Structured Query Language) and Spring Framework
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience in GIT
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience in developing APIs (Analyzing browser & servers)
  • Willing to learn new framework
  • Knowledge of MyBatis
  • Experience in JavaScript/AngularJS
  • Knowledge on Atlassian Jira
  • Understanding of agile engineering practices
  • Open and willing to learn new frameworks
