The role
In this role, you will work with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Machine Learning to optimize key payment risk metrics including fraud rate, chargeback rate, compliance rate, and more. You will be responsible for building and improving Machine Learning models to respond to and mitigate risks in the company's global payments products. Additionally, you will focus on up-leveling risk machine learning excellence on privacy/compliance, interoperability, risk perception, and analysis.

The Individual
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skills and experience:
- BS in Computer Science
- 4+ years of Machine Learning-related experience in trust and safety/risk management (or on a payments team)
- Experience in ML and Deep Learning models
- Proficient in Python, Java or Scala
- Experience with big data tools such as SQL, Hive and Spark
- Must have an interest and be willing to work on coding
