Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading live video monitoring solutions provider specializing in proactive and intelligent video monitoring technology that can significantly improve threat detection and police response. The client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .Net Technology. The job is based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you are expected to improve and mature software development and deployment whilst sharing best practices. You are responsible for leading teams to design, develop, and deploy solutions, with the goal of improving the operations and growth of the company and the development team.

You will work with Software Development leadership to improve and mature software development and deployment best practices processes.

This position will work with software engineers, quality assurance, business analysts, solution architects and dev ops resources in an agile team and report to the Lead of Software Development.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Build Responsive web applications preferably NET Framework, Angular, and SQL code based on wireframes / Visual Design. Experience with .Net Core is a huge plus however, open to other frameworks also.
  • Write Unit/Integration tests
  • Elaborate on requirements and designs to build new features / improve current features.
  • Enhance the performance of the application.
  • Train and mentor other developers
  • Perform code reviews
  • Gather requirements and write user stories.
  • Work with team architecting databases and microservices


Key job requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology, Physics or equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience developing commercial software applications.
  • Overall Core experience in web, desktop, and mobile application development.
  • Knowledge of VSTS / GIT or any other Version Control System.
  • Good communication skills: strong English is required.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful API architecture, Micro-service architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering single-page JavaScript applications in frameworks like React, Angular or Ember.
