Senior Splunk Engineer

6 month freelance contract

100% remote

Job Summary:

* Represent the team's activities and priorities in relation to other IT teams

* Collaborate with the Product Owner to define, prioritize and groom the team backlog

* Create technical designs based on functional specifications for proposed solutions

* First point of contact in addressing technical questions/impediments coming from the team and/or customers

* Work with the team to ensure the Splunk platform is properly administrated (stability, performance tuning, improvements)

* Develop Splunk reports, dashboards, and applications

Job Qualifications:

· Splunk Admin and/or Architect Certification

· Minimum 5 years of experience with Splunk (deploying Splunk and administering the platform, onboarding new data sources, building dashboards and searches)

· Expertise with Linux command line interface and experience with shell scripting
