Our respected client is seeking for a Project Engineer with solid knowledge and experience in PLC and programming and other control system. It involves managing and overseeing various aspects of automation projects from conception to completion is needed for the position of Project Engineer. The job is based in Paranaque City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Project Engineer in the automation industry, your role revolves around managing and coordinating automation projects, from initial planning and design to execution, testing, and documentation. Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of automation systems that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key job responsibilities include:
* Project Planning: Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Design and Engineering: Working with a team of engineers to design and develop automation systems, including control panels, robotics, sensors, and software applications. Ensuring that designs comply with industry standards and client requirements.
* Project Execution: Overseeing the implementation and installation of automation systems. Coordinating with contractors, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
* Testing and Commissioning: Conducting tests and inspections to verify the functionality and performance of automation systems. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects that arise during testing. Commissioning the systems for operational use.
* Project Documentation: Creating and maintaining project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, user manuals, and change orders. Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Project Management: Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and managing project risks. Identifying and resolving any project-related issues or conflicts. Communicating regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates.
* Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization. Implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project outcomes.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all project activities adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines. Implementing proper safety measures to protect personnel and equipment during project execution.
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical Engineerng
* Licensed Electrical Engineer
* Superior attention to detail to identify and correct risky practices.
* Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both speaking and in writing
* High level of interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively and positively with personnel at all levels in the organisation.
* Strong personal accountability for driving and delivering on targets and deadlines.
* Detailed oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills,
* Knowledgeable in generally accepted accounting principles and practices, computerized system, understanding of current political and business environment.
* Ability to think out of the box; Spearheading of high-impact initiatives; Anticipation of potential problems and resolution of problems,
* Must have good leadership skills and effective communicator.
