Executive recruitment Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Shopper Insights & Analytics Manager on behalf of a leading FMCG company. The role offers hybrid work setup (onsite 1-2x and only if necessary) and will directly report to the Analytics Head. Head office is based is Pasig City.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build shopper knowledge via commissioning shopper research. Drive action, inform marketing and sales strategy to drive category expansion and brand growth via mining and synthesizing key shopper learning and insights.
  • Leverage internal data (e.g., distribution, assortment, retailer dynamics, promotional activities) and form key insights and recommendations to win at point of sale
  • Monitoring trends and changes in the retail and shopping landscape including changes in shopper motivations and behaviour
  • Developing and championing retailer specific category and shopper dynamics (e.g., Path-to-Purchase, Shelf Space Optimization / Category Management and other Retailer Specific Store and Portfolio Strategy)
  • Lead Analytics Agenda in the Organization in the areas of: Marketing-Media ROI & Effectiveness, Pricing & Strategic Analytics, Category Forecasting, Business Intelligence


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, BS Math, BS Physics, BS Actuarial, Business/Economics, Business Administration, BS Management Information System, Management Engineering, BA Communication Research, BS Psychology or related courses
  • At least 8 years' experience in market research specializing in Shopper Insights, Retail and Consumer Panel and preferably have exposure in Data Analytics (in the area of Business Optimization, Marketing-Media ROI and Effectiveness, Pricing & Analytics, Forecasting and Business Intelligence)
  • Experience with a wide variety of research methodologies and demonstrated ability to interpret syndicated data
  • Ability to synthesize data into insights, develop and communicate strategic thinking
