Job Summary
Our respected client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer of the highest professional standing and a background in Microsoft stack (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET) for the job of Software Engineer IV.

The Software Engineer IV is responsible for the overall technology and architecture of the company's products and services. As part of the Development team, the Software Engineer IV will be involved in the design, coding, unit testing, code review, and own the architecture of the company's services and applications. The job is in BGC, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a WFH flexibility (night shift).

Key job responsibilities:

  • Owns cross-team shared technology and architecture.
  • Works with head of development to choose new technologies and promote culture/process.
  • Does serious research to evaluate and test options.
  • Understands implications (and trade-offs) of reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption by organization, recruiting, etc.
  • Evaluate system-wide platform decisions and set long-term company-wide technical strategy.
  • Potentially work both as individual contributors on a feature team and as architectural reviewers working with the head of development.
  • The responsibilities listed above are representative of the main duties and other duties may be assigned or altered based on business need.

Key job requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience developing commercial software preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience developing independently in a variety of technology areas and owning functional areas.
  • Experience with Microsoft stack (C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET) preferable.
  • Experience with React, Node, Angular preferable.
  • Experience with agile development practices like Scrum and Kanban preferable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
