Sourcing Specialist for Corporate Services for EMEA region

Initial 12 month freelance contract + extensions

Hamburg, Germany / Remote (2-3 days onsite, 2-3 days remote per week)

A leading semiconductor company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Professional tracking of procurement policies and system strategies to optimise tendering, contract management, spend analysis and supplier performance, i.e. the complete P2P process through ARIBA, Beeline, Conga and other platforms.
* Propose Independent review of all aspects of regulatory compliance that are adhered in procurement process including documentation.
* Provide professional information to regional procurement manager
* Lead and drive independent strategic relationships to create a network of stakeholders,
* Identify business requirements to create opportunities to position the procurement value proposition.
* Independent review and processing in order to adapt procurement strategies to contribute to our client's success
* Review supplier relationships which present potential risks to (for example where supplier has balance of power, monopolies, sole sources etc.) to minimize risk to our client.
* Independently negotiate, create, review and manage effective contracts with suppliers that will allow to maximize opportunity for our client.
* Independent review that considerations are taken into account in supplier negotiations and contracts

Required Professional Competencies:

* Graduate degree in business administration
* Experience with Semiconductor industry is preferred
* 3-4 years' experience preferably in procurement
* Proactive, well-organized
* Affinity with legal contractual terms and conditions
* Strong team player and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities at one time
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous global environment supporting multiple countries
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
