We are partnering with a live streaming company in the gaming industry that is actively building out the first to market gaming platform and redefining interaction for live game broadcasts.

They are located in Montreal, QC, and are hiring for a Sr. Build Automation Developer to join their ranks.

The Role

As an experienced Build Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the automation framework, in addition to automating manual tests. You will need a deep understanding of automation, and the ability to oversee the build of the automation processes - which is critical to the future success of the business.

You must have had experience building automation frameworks for the Cloud in previous roles, utilizing continuous integration and continuous deployment. You will implement a system to automatically produce daily reports on the status of compilations, computers, unit tests and any other information needed by the teams. In addition, you will document and monitor all automation processes, and provide troubleshooting for issues and map out processes for future instances. Lastly, you will help the development environment remain consistent, and support, advise, and consult teams on automation and optimization of tasks.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • A Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering or any related field.

  • Proven experience as a Build Automation Developer (or similar role).

  • Proven experience in Python, Windows, Docker, AWS.

  • CI/CD.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - French language - plus.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with team members.

  • Excitement for learning new things and looking for new challenges to expand their knowledge, skills, and career.
