MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND TASKS: % OF TIME

1. Patient Care

a. Assist with managing patients in the waiting space and level set wait time expectations.

b. Assist with patient registration and answer questions regarding MinuteClinic services.

c. Act as a chaperon if a patient or provider in the primary exam room requests one.

d. Room patients including taking vital signs and documenting demographics, insurance,

medical history, medications, allergies, vital signs and point of care test results and

vaccines in the electronic medical record.

e. Perform point of care testing for strep, flu, COVID, urine pregnancy and any other tests

depending on MinuteClinic scope of practice

f. Will complete a Minute Clinic certification process that will allow for vaccine

administration in states allowed based on Minute Clinic scope of practice

2. Clinic Environment

a. Maintain clinic rooms and waiting area so they are clean, uncluttered, and ready for

patient care.

b. Ordering and maintaining adequate supplies for the clinic.

3. Additional Duties

a. Perform additional medical services under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or

Physician Associate, such as obtain vital signs, document in electronic health record, and

assist with procedures.

b. Perform administrative tasks such as inventory management, patient call backs,

equipment cleaning, document management and compliance tasks, etc.
