Our respected client is currently looking for a Supply Chain Management Executive. The company is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines, but currently offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Headquarter or overseas office for coal shipment arrangement.
- Arrange and follow up all shipping documents such as invoice, B/L, Packing list, C/O and others documents to release the cargo once it arrive at the port.
- Contact and coordinate with Philippines port authority, ship agent, forward for customer clearance at port.
- Look for and contact the competitive custom brokers or forwarders to arrange for import formalities and custom clearances.
- Supervise the unloading of coal at the port and the sampling of coal sample
- Contact with Government agency such as Department of Energy to secure the necessary certificate on coal import and delivery.
- Effectively manage truck contractor for delivery of coal to customers and inform customers of the schedule of coal delivery.
- Monitor inventory in the system and the physical stock.
- Analyze the information to improve inventory management. Manage closing coal stockpile when each stockpile is finished
- Perform other job functions according to the company policy and assigned by the president.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree preferably in any business-related course.
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in phase logistic management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferably with SAP exposure
- English ability both reading, writing, listening and speaking skills is required.
- A thorough knowledge of logistic procedures.
- Ability to assess problems and develop realistic solutions, ability to coordinate with other departments' staffs and ability to negotiate with both customers, suppliers and other related persons.
- Willing to help people, friendly, service-minded and able to work overtime
