Systems Administrator - ASAP Start - London - Hybrid
Systems administrator required on a permanent basis for a company in the marketing space. You will be working in a small team where you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery of key change initiatives and other work streams. You will report directly to the Head of IT and be responsible managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Role:
- You will be providing the day-to-day management and support for Internet related infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, VPN tunnels and personal VPN tokens, firewalls, mobile devices, tablets, wireless internet, and backup systems, within operational critical environments.
- Be the go-to person for managing, tracking and trouble-shooting issues, change controls, bespoke project roll-outs and live fault escalations
- Support all IT system related queries
- Maintain a high level of availability of services and minimise the risk of system downtime by continually monitoring systems
- Liaise closely with internal /external contacts to maintain oversight of current infrastructure while driving new technical projects forward
- Ordering hardware and liaising with suppliers when required

Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of network routing, load balancers and switches, Intel-based server hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, and IPS/IDS.
- High level of experience supporting Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, Windows 10 desktop platforms
- Hardware support - Laptops, Desktops and Servers, VOIP phone system
- Experience of network routing, load balancers and switches
- Web Server running - IIS 7.5/8.0/10
- Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance Skills (Desirable)
- Great communication and inter-personal skills
- Excellent time management skills and workload priority management
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: London, England (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)
