Key Responsibilities
- Execute thorough 1st and 2nd document checks to uphold the highest standards of trade compliance.
- Collaborate with international clients and internal stakeholders to streamline trade finance processes.
- Stay aware of industry regulations, with a particular emphasis on UCP600, to guide and advice on best practices.
- Uploading L/Cs into the banking system
- Carrying out KYC on buyers/seller
- Conducting price checks against the market prices and escalating a report to compliance where discrepancies exist.
- Processing of documentary collections and payments
- Processing of guarantees and trade related loans
Requirements of the role
- Excellent knowledge of UCP600, URC522, URR725 and ISBP
- Operational experience of all aspects of Trade Finance
- Exposure to LoanIQ, Eximbills and Swift
