Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of renowned fashion retail company. Our respected client is seeking an Department Manager for Treasury with experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, controlling and treasury functions. The job is based in Quezon City, Philippines.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Provides strategic direction for the department in relation to business objectives
  • Oversees implementation of new processes or improvements in coordination with internal and external partners
  • Works closely with Mancom and BMs for accurate, relevant and timely financial evaluation of brand performance, programs and future plans
  • Oversees strict monitoring of current financial performance in line with the targets set by the company to eliminate unexpected variances
  • Monitors economic trends as it relates to the financial standing of the company
  • Oversees consolidated report preparation and analysis
  • Oversees the financial planning process and facilitates compliance to approved budgets
  • Implements Mancom directions
  • Ensures existence and maintenance of management reports database
  • Reviews financial information requirements and performance measurements, with recommendations for updates or enhancements
  • Effective fund management by availing of the best investment alternatives or cost efficient fund sources
  • Ensures timely and accurate monitoring of deposits
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of disbursements
  • Oversees preparation of cashflow reports and cash plan, ensuring funds are available to support business needs

Key job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy or related courses
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as Treasury Manager or Head in Corporate / Company Treasury Operations
  • Able to read financial statements and can do cash flow forecast
  • Preferably with experience in using SAP.
  • Must be willing to work 3 days in office and 2 days from home
  • Willing to work in Quezon City during office days
