International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of an International Multiverse Gaming Company. As the business keeps developing, our client is seeking for Unity Game Developer position. The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

JOB SUMMARY: The dedicated Unity Game Developer will be involved taking part in game design planning, development & programming including character controls, game mechanics, game AI & NPCs, quests & missions, including building integrated mini games.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership of entire features and components of the game lifecycle.
  • Be part of the development process and contribute improvements and suggestions, driving the quality of the code throughout the entire production cycle.
  • Plan, design and implement high-quality game features working as part of the wider studio team.
  • Transform design specification into functional game assets.
  • Establish an effective strategy and development pipeline.
  • Quickly create and iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and interaction patterns.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games.
  • Identify process and application bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2-4 years of game production experience with the Unity 3D Game Engine.
  • Proficiency in the C# object-oriented programming and scripting languages.
  • Experience with MMO games as well as building games for both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • English communication skills.
  • Multiplayer game development experience in client/server contexts is a bonus.
  • Ability to debug and optimize code, as well as a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of productivity applications, such as JIRA.
