Field Sales Supervisor (Retail/Wholesale)

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an American multinational company, with products sold in over 180 countries. They are in need of Sales Rep/Executive to handle retail/wholesale. Possible areas of assignment are: NCR, South & North Luzon. Mondays to Fridays, no fixed schedule and can start as early 4:30 AM.

Key Job responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage, and coach Retail Salesmen (Van Salesmen/VSM) in the assigned territory
  • Set and oversee business objectives for the Retail Salesmen to achieve
  • Supervise Retail Salesmen in various aspects, including volume achievement, accounts receivable management, price management, coverage strategy, distribution, and visibility of company's portfolio
  • Monitor Retail Salesmen's accountabilities, such as sales, stock inventory reconciliation, daily collection and remittances, collection/status of outstanding accounts receivable (AR), revolving fund, and fleet maintenance
  • Ensure Retail Salesmen are effectively managing their territories to meet targets
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to Retail Salesmen to enhance their performance
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for the Retail Sales team
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align strategies and maximize results
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to higher management.

Job Requirements:

  • Should be a graduate of any 4-year course
  • Must have a driver's license for at least a year and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of supervisory experience and field sales experience
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and knowledge in negotiation and consultative selling
  • Demonstrates a track record of successful sales/marketing projects and initiatives
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships effectively
