Rhona Driggs, Chief Executive Officer of Empresaria Group plc, has been recognised in the Staffing Industry Analysts Global Power 150 Women in Staffing, for the sixth consecutive year.
Rhona’s inclusion in the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing for the sixth-year running is an incredible achievement. Her stature within the industry emulates Empresaria’s values and vision of being a leader within the global staffing market. Rhona was also included in the SIA’s Staffing 100 Europe both 2020 and 2021.
Rhona joined Empresaria in late 2018 and has driven change to create a more unified group, leveraging our wider capabilities and thereby enabling a focus on strategic solutions within the staffing industry. Under her leadership, Empresaria introduced its Stronger Together initiative, working toward aligning the company around core values and sectors and increasing investment in key areas to support its operations, which was instrumental to the group’s successful navigation through the pandemic. Rhona has also recently attracted high-profile and talented individuals to the listed UK-based global specialist staffing group, including the recent appointments of two new regional CEOs and a president for North America.
The list in its seven-year history has recognised female leaders and influencers around the globe within the recruitment industry who have driven the industry forward through the current crisis.
“Through the compilation of the 2021 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list, we see that despite great odds, the women in our industry are actively advocating for equality in the workplace for other women, as well as historically excluded groups, by mentoring and developing training and other programs and partnerships to lift each other up,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA. “The progress may be slow and results yet unseen, but the first steps have been taken. And this is a huge step forward for the ecosystem as we move towards a more inclusive and diverse world of work.”
Rhona on receiving this recognition said: ‘It is an honour to be named amongst these inspiring women within the staffing industry. As female leaders we all have a role to play to ensure we achieve equality in our sector. This past year has seen us collaborate more than ever before, as we grapple with the negative effects the pandemic has had on women across the globe. I look forward to this continued collaboration in the coming year and what we can achieve together.’
