Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

​Empresaria is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Bellamy to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. Steve will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees immediately on appointment and Penny Freer will stand down from the Audit Committee.

Steve is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience as a chair and non-executive director with a wide range of both public and private companies. He is currently the Senior Independent Director at Caffyns PLC and prior recent appointments include Non-Executive Director of Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc and Michelmersh Brick Holdings plc, and Chairman of Becrypt Limited and Concirrus Limited. Steve was also formerly Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director of Sherwood International plc.

Further to the Company's announcement on 6 June 2022, the process is ongoing to appoint an additional independent Non-Executive Director and a further announcement will be made in due course.
