Empresaria Chair, Tony Martin, Has Today Been Made A Commander Of The British Empire (Cbe) For His Charitable Services

Empresaria Chair, Tony Martin, has today been made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for his charitable services. The CBE is the highest-ranking Order of the British Empire award, given to those who have made a positive impact through their work. Tony founded the Anthony V Martin Charitable foundation in 2001. The Foundation seeks to improve the lives of animals in many ways and without restriction as to geography. The Foundation enables significant collaboration with domestic and international charities and is committed to providing life-saving veterinary care, food, and sanctuary to promote the physical, psychological, and emotional wellbeing of animals.

Tony, who lives in Buckinghamshire, has been a prominent figure in the staffing sector for the past 30 years, developing and managing some of the world’s largest international staffing companies. Tony is looking to replicate this success in his bid to support animal welfare around the world.

On receiving this recognition, Tony Martin CBE, said “This recognition is a great honour. My charitable foundation, which was established over 20 years ago, is mainly involved in improving animal welfare, for example the eradication of trophy hunting and the eating of dogs and cats in other countries. So far over a million dogs have been saved, and this continues to increase rapidly.”

Rhona Driggs, Empresaria CEO said: “We are delighted to see Tony recognised for his work through the Foundation. His dedication to animal welfare is truly remarkable and we are so happy to see this acknowledged.”
